The only independent K-12 Jewish community day school in Orange County and one of the largest in the nation, TVT was established in 1991 by Irving Gelman, a Holocaust survivor, in loving memory of Naomi Gelman Weiss. It is a tribute to the Tarbut schools that flourished in Eastern Europe before the Holocaust.

Earning the prestigious "Honor Award" from the American Institute of Architects, the spacious 21.5-acre
hillside campus provides:
· 150,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities

An award-winning school, TVT has achieved:
· The highest level of accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and provisional   accreditation through California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS)
· Recognition by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
