"Tarbut V’ Torah is much more than a nationally recognized educational institution. It is a community, a family and above all, a second home. Over the years, I noticed the expansion of the campus. The part I did not notice was the extent of my own growth, not only as a student, but also as a person and most importantly, as a strongly identified and proud Jew. Tarbut has a unique character unlike any other school. The more I gave of myself, the more I grew. The more I grew, the more I wanted to give. I know that many people have commented about how much time I have given to the school, but I do not think anybody saw how much the school has given to me. As a proud alumnus, I am more determined than ever to thrive and succeed at USC’s Marshall School of Business and beyond. I will never forget the responsibility I have to myself, my family, and my community at TVT. I feel forever indebted to this school for giving me that opportunity and to the man who made it all possible: Papa Gelman."
