Walk and Learn, 1:00 - 2:30PM, Lower School Courtyard

Below is the ABC-7 coverage of the Walk and Learn event.

TVT students, teachers and staff walked together as a community to make a difference in the world. This walkathon event raised both awareness of the poverty in Africa as well as money to build a school in rural Kenya. The program was organized by 18 TVT high school students who are part of TVT’s Ambassador Club. In June they will travel to an underprivileged village in Kenya where they will work alongside the locals and build this community a new school.

You can still support their efforts by donating to the walk. Every dollar is tax-deductible and will allow a child in Africa the chance at an education, a change for a future, a chance at a life. Please donate on-line at this link.
