Who are TVT Ambassadors and what are the goals of an Ambassador Club?

Group Photo 2012

The Ambassador Club is a high school student leadership program in North America to raise awareness about the Millennium Development Goals. These goals were established by the United Nations and include education, poverty, health and sustainable energy.

Ambassador Clubs are chosen through a highly selective process. Schools are selected based on their school values and commitment to engage students to become knowledgeable about significant global challenges and instill in them a passion to become agents of change. The Clubs raise awareness of the Millennium Development Goals in their school and community at large. They also raise funds to support development projects overseas, which will help the world achieve these goals.  Members of the club will be part of a unique experience in character education that will expose students to new cultures and current issues affecting their world.

The TVT Ambassador Club will be leading several events-- a school wide educational Kabbalat shabbat, a walk and learn fundraiser, a garage sale and many more.  Come get involved and help repair our world.
