NICHE Ranks TVT One of Best Schools in America

TVT Community Day School has been ranked as the best K-12 private school in Orange County,
the best Jewish school in California and the best Jewish high school in California in the 2017 NICHE Best Schools in America ranking for private schools. TVT received on overall NICHE grade of A+.

NICHE, the largest website for researching public and private K-12 schools, based its ranking on factors such as faculty, academics, student-teacher ratio, diversity, university readiness, SAT/ACT scores, sports and reviews from students and parents. A high ranking indicates that students are happy with their school experience, the school is an exceptional academic institution and made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting and positive school culture.  It also indicates students are actively involved in a variety of extracurricular activities and sports.

NICHE bases its rankings on rigorous analysis of statistics along with student and parent reviews at thousands of private high schools across the United States. Data comes from the Private School Universe Survey from the National Center of Education Statistics and surveys sent to students, parents and private schools.

“These rankings speak volumes about the quality of our faculty, whose dedication and talent have made TVT the remarkable school it is today,” said Dr. Jeffrey Davis, TVT head of school. “A well-deserved thanks to all TVT students, parents, staff, board of trustees and community supporters who have all contributed to the great success of TVT.”

TVT Community Day School, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, focuses on individualized college preparatory education rooted in Jewish values. The school is pluralistic and inclusive in its approach and accommodates students from transitional kindergarten to grade 12.  TVT offers advanced institutes in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and Jewish studies.
