Q:     In what grade did you begin TVT and in what year did you graduate?
A:      I was a member of the Class of 2007 from kindergarten through graduation.

Q:     In what way did TVT make you the person you are today?
A:      During my school years my classmates were like family to me. At TVT I developed my lasting commitment to tikun olam, repair of the world, which has guided me in my studies and profession.

Q:     What did you do right after TVT?
A:      After graduating from TVT I studied Psychology at Chapman University, where I was involved in Hillel, interned with Irvine Therapy Services, and volunteered with several philanthropic efforts. 

Q:     How did TVT prepare you for college? 
A:      I arrived at Chapman prepared by my experiences at TVT to build important relationships with friends and faculty, to ask for support when I needed it, and to pursue my passion for learning. 

Q:     How did TVT impact your studies and profession? 
A:      I feel that my choice of Occupational Therapy as a profession was a direct result of the values that were instilled in me during my TVT years, specifically the call to heal the world.

Q:     Please let us know if you attended grad school?
A:      I graduated from Chapman in May 2011 and began the Occupational Therapy Graduate Program at USC the following month.

Q:     What are you doing now?
A:     Since completing the OT program I have worked at a pediatric outpatient facility in Huntington Beach for children ages’ birth to 18 years old with special needs.  I now live in Orange County with my husband and hope to complete the advanced practice certification in neurodevelopmental treatment.

Q:     What accomplishments are you most proud of?
A:      In thinking back, I am most proud of achieving my academic goal to of completing my master’s degree and my professional goal of earning my license in occupational therapy. 

Q:     Any advice for today's TVT students in grades TK-12? 
A:      A few pieces of advice to current students: slow down and enjoy your time at school and love your TVT family!

Q:     Any words for your parents on making your TVT experience possible for you?
A:      I am so grateful to my parents for my TVT experience, filled with incredible memories and values that have guided me along my path.  I wouldn't trade my TVT years for anything.
