6th Graders Visit the California Science Center

The 6th graders spent a day at the California Science Center for a cross-curricular educational experience that combined science, math, and history
They were joined by their science, engineering, math, and history teachers.  Students became immersed in the history of ancient Egypt as they walked through rare artifacts from the tomb of King Tut.

Along the way, they answered math questions related to Egyptian history.  Next, the class learned about the history and science of space exploration, from Mr. Wallace, their engineering teacher who has worked on space systems.  They experienced the awe of walking around a space shuttle as they learned about its complex operations.
