Student Spotlight | TVT Student Earns Perfect Score on AP Test
Eliott not only earned the top score of a "5" on the 2021 AP Comparative Government and Politics Exam, he was the only student worldwide to earn every point possible on this challenging, college-level exam, achieving a perfect score.
Eliott's "performance on the AP Comparative Government and Politics Exam in May 2021 was so superior that it falls into an extremely select category," wrote Trevor Packer, Head of the Advanced Placement Program at College Board. He continued, "We applaud your mastery of the content and skills of this AP course."
"Eliott's global perspective, outstanding writing skills, and earnest engagement with his studies make this award well-deserved," said Curtis Hartman, Eliott's AP Comparative Government and Politics teacher. "Even so, it is an incredible feat to get every single point on every question--such a thing happens only once or twice in a teacher's career. I am incredibly proud of Eliott, and in awe of his maturity and drive, which made this possible. Well done, Eliott!"
