"I like helping people. Faculty help the students. Human Resources helps the employees. Advancement, by encouraging donors to fill the fiscal gap that inevitably exists between tuition revenue and expenses, helps the school community. But accounting helps practically anyone who interacts with the school. At some point, in some way, students, parents, donors, volunteers, Board/committee members, employees, vendors, customers...all are involved with the school financially. And accounting's job is to make sure that all of them are treated properly and fairly in their financial interactions with the school.

Everyone is our client on some level. And we're an educational religious entity, so we're helping those who help others! You'll have a hard time telling me that's not a meaningful way to spend your days." Mr. Leventhal graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BS in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting, and is certified as a CPA. He worked 4 years in public accounting before taking general accounting and controllership positions with companies involved in the real estate loan, medical administration and Medicare health plan industries. Mr. Leventhal has also been the financial administrator for Beth Jacob of Irvine, the local orthodox synagogue. He has happily worked at TVT for 5 years.

Mr. Leventhal whiles away his free time with movies, fantasy role playing games and anything else as long as it’s with his family.
