This lets our Admissions Team learn more about your family and connect you with information tailored to your child’s grade and interests. Once your inquiry is received, you’ll be invited to schedule a campus tour and explore all that TVT has to offer.

Families typically begin the admissions process with a visit to our campus. Our open houses and campus tours introduce the school’s educational philosophy, curriculum, extracurricular activities, facilities, faculty, staff, and students.

You will complete an online application form through our admissions portal.
Priority Application Deadline is February 1. There is a nonrefundable application fee.
Applicants who submit their application and all required documents by February 1 are also eligible for a $1,000 tuition credit.
After the deadline, we support a rolling admissions process until spaces are full.

Attend a Student Visit and Assessment

A visit and/or assessment will be scheduled once TVT has received your completed application and all supporting documents.
TK and Kindergarten applicants will be invited to participate in an interactive group assessment. During this engaging visit, students will connect with teachers through play and participate in activities to help us get to know your child.
The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your student visit.

Receive a Decision

The Admissions Committee will meet to evaluate a student’s completed application for admission. The decision is based on submitted information, class dynamics, assessments, and observations. Qualified siblings of current students in good standing receive priority.
Decisions will be communicated in early March. We support a rolling admission policy for any remaining available spaces after March.

Accept Your Offer and Enroll

Upon acceptance, families will be asked to complete and return their child’s enrollment contract within 10 business days. Enrollment contracts are submitted online with a nonrefundable enrollment deposit/initial payment.
Students applying for 1st through 5th
grade will enter the Lower School.

Take the Independent School Entrance Exam
-
Applicants to 6th–11th grade are required to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE). This admission test is used by many independent schools and is administered at several local sites.
TVT’s school code for ISEE: 054346
You may register and find locations/dates on the ERB website. All test results must come directly from the testing company.

Attend a Student Visit

Once TVT has received your completed application and all supporting documents, a visit will be scheduled.
