About

Letter from Head of School

It is a pleasure to introduce you to our joyful learning community! TVT is an inclusive Jewish school where students learn to actively participate in their own educational journey.  Our record of achievement and excellence makes us a leader among K-12 independent schools in Orange County.

Year after year, our graduating seniors tell us how much they value the relationships formed at TVT.  Our faculty are engaged at every level of the student experience, investing in students’ academic, personal, and character growth.  With intimate settings of small class sizes, our teachers form lasting relationships with their students as they progress through the grades from Lower to Middle to Upper School.

Equally important, and impactful, is how the TVT experience extends beyond the realm of academics to grow and nurture citizens of character. When TVT students go out into the world, they are poised and prepared to make that world a better place in their own unique way.

How do we do this? In addition to what you would expect to find in 21st-century classrooms and curricula, TVT’s immersive experiences allow students to engage in unique opportunities that integrate classroom learning with real-world applications. Students engage in service among the wider community throughout their time at TVT, and by the time they enter Upper School, the Immersion opportunities prepare them to become inquisitive learners, compassionate citizens, and courageous leaders in their community and in the world.

Beyond TVT, the success of our students speaks volumes about the myriad opportunities they experience here during their critical elementary and secondary school years. Our graduates attend top-ranked universities and liberal arts colleges across the nation and abroad. This is a remarkable testament to the rigor and relevance of our curriculum and the rich relationships between teachers and learners.

We welcome you and your family to visit our vibrant campus and hear TVT’s unique story from faculty and staff, students and alumni, parents, and grandparents. Since the time of our founding, our mission remains to inspire your child to love learning, live values, and discover heritage.

Kol Tuv,
