TVT | Class of 2015 Class of 2019 | Stanford University
Q: What made TVT special for you?
A: As a “lifer”– a student who attended TVT from Kindergarten through 12th grade- I was afforded a wealth of opportunities that would not have been available at other schools. The dual curriculum gave me an advantage from the start. High school, in particular, was exceptional for me. Playing on a varsity athletic team and being the leader of two clubs were only a few of my high school highlights. I also had the rare experiences of participating in two international service missions; to China and Thailand. Each trip strengthened my senses of humility, gratitude and tikkun olam. Finally, TVT offered the unique opportunity for me to take 14 Advanced Placement classes with outstanding teachers who were truly vested in my success, without imposing excessive amounts of after-school work.
Q: What are you doing now?
A: I am attending Stanford University, where I am a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Master of Arts in public policy in the class of 2019. I was Stanford Axe Committee Chairman 2017-18. My academic success and well-rounded experience at TVT has allowed me to accelerate through my college curriculum successfully, while maintaining a balance of fun and extracurricular activities.
