Families typically begin the TVT Admissions process with a visit to the campus. Our Open Houses and campus tours provide an introduction to the school’s educational philosophy, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, facilities, faculty, staff, and students.
Once TVT has received all application and supporting documents, a school visit day (shadow day) or assessment will be scheduled. During this visit, your child will have the opportunity to interact with our current students and faculty. The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your student visit.
TK and K Applicants
TK and Kindergarten applicants will participate in a "Taste of Kindergarten" assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to help us get to know your child and determine whether TVT might be a good potential fit. The assessment will last approximately 1 hour.
Grade 1-5 Applicants
Grade 1-5 applicants will schedule a school visit day during which they will participate in an individual assessment, visit a peer group classroom, and have the opportunity to interact with students and TVT faculty.
The Admissions Committee will meet to evaluate a student’s completed application for admission. The decision is an intricate one based upon submitted information, historical data, class dynamics, assessment, and observation; qualified siblings of current students in good standing have first priority.
Decisions will be posted in myTVT late February/Early March. We support a rolling admission policy for any remaining available spaces after March.
Upon acceptance, families will be asked to complete their child enrollment to TVT within 10 business days. Enrollment contracts are submitted online with a non-refundable enrollment deposit/initial payment.
