College Counseling

The College Counseling Department at TVT provides students with numerous opportunities each year to engage deeply in their search for life post-high school. Beginning in 8th grade, our team offers advisement and programming aimed at helping students explore and develop their strengths, talents, and academic skills. Our process is intentionally individualized, as we believe fit plays an important role in guiding each student to colleges, universities, and post-secondary program(s) that best suit their identity(s). Moreover, our college counseling program is deeply personalized; our students and families actively participate in identifying schools here and abroad that match their goals.

Located in the Upper School, College Counseling is a center for social gatherings on campus. In addition to hosting college visits and affiliated programs, College Counseling provides resources for a student’s post-secondary planning. Our team provides support with locating internships, summer programs, employment, and extra-curricular activities as well as academic guidance.

With our comprehensive and inclusive programming, our graduates find themselves happy and comfortable during their college years, which helps them thrive in life after TVT.
